To all my Tech Savvy Friends...
Ok, I am about to do some major upgrading in my technology. I'm looking for a new phone and a new laptop.
Ok first the laptop. I'm looking for a lightweight (less than 6lbs.) 14' or 15' screen, with at least 3GB of RAM and 200-250GB Hard Drive space. I am really not fussy with a whole lot when it comes to any other features than that, I'm just putting this out because I want to get a decent machine for the money. I don't want to spend more than $800 (since this is technically my graduation gift from my mom). I'm basically using it for school, so the biggest program I would be running is Adobe CS3 for basic graphic design work. Multitasking strength would be a plus, but I don't know how to look for features that would tell me if a machine was good at that or not.
