It's what happens when Alex Trebek has a picture of a giraffe in his ass during an earthquake. I finished the sixth Potter book (well I actually finished a couple
days ago) and boy was it ever devastating. Pretty much everything I had
predicted came to be in this book but it was still shocking none the
less. The book was still awesome, lots of loves and relationships
finally came to, though not my favorite. I still prefer book 2. The
last book is going to be so bittersweet. *sigh* I'd almsot hate for it
all to end. Voldemort can live on for a couple more books...can't he?
I did get the book at about 12:45am or so. My sisters and I
actually got to Barnes at about 7 and got my bracelet (#271). We
strolled about for a while and decided to go get a bite to eat at
Applebee's. My sister had bought a Beatles remixed CD and we listened
to that on the way there and back. (Good CD might I add.) Once we got
back it was about 9:30. We walked in to start making a wand and then a
picture frame and we stole some HP stickers. I got another set of HP
glasses as well. They started lining people up (by bracelet number) at
about 11:45. It was cool to see all the people there dressed
up...except for these two girls who were wearing nothing but sheer
white pillow cases, stillettos, and construction paper/ aluminum foil
elf ears. **shudders**
School's startin' soon. I'm actually kind of excited. Mostly b/c it's
an excuse for me to buy myself all new stuff. I have my eyes set on a
messenger bag that's kelly green and pink.
So purty. I'm also going to try and purchase a new laptop. I hate
writing and I especially hate writing fast. I prefer to type or meander
on the internet when bored. I'll have to see when the time comes.
There's also a blue and white longhorn shirt that I really want.
I decided not to buy a parking permit this time around considering I
never picked last year's up b/c I never needed it. I'm such a dork.
That was $80 down the drain.
My schedule looks like so:
History of the Book - M/ 6-9PM
Jesus in American Culture - MWF/ 11-12
Intro to Int'l Relations - MWF/ 10-11
French - MTWTHF/ 9-10
The time in between will be filled with work. :(
Speaking of work. I thought two of my coworkers were going to have a
real physical row. They were yelling and shouting at each other to the
point that it made me leave the office and sit down in the warehouse
until they were done. I do side with one girl though, Linda, b/c she's
been trying to fix the screwups that the other disputer keeps creating
and losing money for. It's a brutal world out there. As much as I'm
tired of school, I'm much more tired of full time work. Arrg.
It's now 4:06PM. I want to go home.
