Peyton's Bad Day
So this morning, we took Peyton to go get neutered. There was a little
concern as to whether or not his testicles had really descended but the
lady said that he was just the right size and age. Nic had to pick him
up around 4 and then leave for work at 4:30. So for about 2 hours,
Peyton was all alone with a cone on his head. I came in and you could
tell that he had been crying and that he was in great pain. : ( I
took him outside to go potty and then carried him back up the stairs
b/c it was too painful for him to go up. The cone was a bit too
big so I took it off so that he could get something to eat and drink.
Then he looked like he was just extremely tired so I laid with him and
played Phantom of the Opera (his favorite) until he fell asleep. I felt
like such an awful person for having him neutered. He also got his 2nd
round Parvo shot and a rabies vaccination. :*( . He's doing
well though. It's been a long day so I will be taking a nap.
