Excited/Anxious
My grandmother is coming over to my house! No member of my family has seen my abode since the day I left home when I was 18, well, unless you count that little event where I lived my stepdad. She and my little sister are coming out to hang out downtown with me; I told my little sister that I would take her to the mall, to which she had the typical response of any 7 year old girl.
I still don't know what I'm going to do about this lab. I have to get a lab notebook, but none of the bookstores have been open all weekend because of the holiday, it's crap! I think I'll just do it on graph paper and call it a day, if they don't like it, oh well--I'll be able to get one of the notebooks tomorrow. It's kind of annoying, because they tell you you can't have a lab book with carbon copies, but all of the lab books around, other than their own product of course, have carbon paper in them. Grrr, damn monopolizing capatalistic college bitches!
All in all though, I feel good about this semester. I'm loaded heavy, for sure, but at the same time I think all the work will keep me focussed. Like there's no way I could delude myself into thinking I could "just do the work tomorrow." Hope it turns out well.
