Scholar
Scholars are strong individualists who seek new angles or novel ways of looking at things. They enjoy coming to new understandings. They are insightful and mentally quick; however, this mental quickness may not always be outwardly apparent to others since they keep a great deal to themselves. They are very determined people who trust their vision of the possibilities, regardless of what others think. They may even be considered the most independent of the entire wizarding world. Scholars are at their best quietly and firmly developing their ideas, theories, and principles.
They are fit for leading - but as is the case with most who should lead - they don’t. They are an interesting sort, with a low tolerance for rampant emotionalism. Scholars also tend to not recognize authority figures, ranks or titles - seeing as they know better - naturally.
With a great body of knowledge within command, the Scholar has access to new, creative applications for mystical skills to support his allies and to frustrate his enemies. Although the Scholar does not boast the sheer power of the Wizard, their inventive methods are the key to victory. Wizards' specialties are to cast strong spells freely using the four elements. Scholars, on the other hand, rely on knowledge and use various techniques and combinations to get the best out of the elements. Their magic shapes magic, failing that - they can just nullify any danger to themselves. They specialize in protective and silencing spells along with the ability to enchant or imbue elemental charges into weapons or the land beneath their feet. Others are readily affected by these enchantments and they can bolster the flammability of a target or slow it down so that they won't miss.
