Is Dramione dying?
I was reading this post over at Dramione. It's about a loss of stories/writers to the ship. Does anyone out there feel like they've moved on from Dramione for one reason or another, or that other notable people have?
I'm really looking forward to the Hawthorn and Vine (hawthorn_vine) archive being up and running! I reckon the Dramione fandom took a major hit when Coloured Grey went down. It will be nice to have a definitive place for people to find stories again. Plus it will give new authors a better platform for getting noticed. It's hard to discover new fics at the moment.
Edited to add: Personally I still love Dramione and all the people in it! Just wanted to make that clear...
Speaking of, I've been trying to go through the early chapters of Water so that I can post them to GrangerEnchanted. I friggin' HATE some of my writing in the early chapters!!! I've changed a bit of the wording and taken out a few unnecessary swear words here and there. You can really tell I started writing it four years ago without any real experience. I was cringing at some of it!!
When I have more time I'm looking forward to getting a bit more into other fandoms (as well as HP). I was saying to reetinkerbell that Twilight would be interesting, since I'd like to see the characters developed a bit better than they are in the books! I also feel myself drifting towards Merlin and Glee. Anyone else eyeing a fandom from afar?
As far as RL goes...
I have so much to do at the moment that I'm basically ignoring every single bit of it.
Seriously...what am I doing to myself? I don't even know. I'll regret it though. Massively. In fact I regret it already...and yet here I am updating my journal rather than making a start on some work.
ARGH! That's the best sound to sum up these past couple of weeks. Hope others have been a bit better than me!
