Past lives...
I understand and respect that not everybody believes in reincarnation. I for one, do believe - I have had various experiences in the past that have allowed me to see flashes of what I consider to be some of my past lives. This has not happened in quite awhile, that changed last night.
Myself and Wendi both believe in ghosts and the paranormal. Both of us have had experiences which cannot be explained by anything else. Because we are both believers, we have become fans of Ghost Hunters and Ghost Hunters International (both on SciFi). Last night was the season premier of Ghost Hunters, and they were investigating Fort Mifflin in Pennsylvania. Once the show started, I started to have a flash that I had been there before - I think during the Civil War time frame. I could not remember anything specific, but the grounds were very familiar - I could tell it was different, older and more run down. The vague feeling that were coming through to me were jarring and not overall positive. Wendi noticed that I was kind of freaked out, kept asking me if I was alright. I told her that I thought I would be and that I remembered being there in a past life.
As they talked about the Fort, several things caused reactions in me with no specifics. One was the suicide of an officer's wife and another was the recently dug up solitary confinement cells. Whenever they were around those locations, I felt myself become more agitated, but I could not tell why. By the time the show was ending, I was jumpy and my hands had been shaking for most of the program. As I was falling asleep, I seem to recall seeing more about the site, but I cannot say for sure - I have no recollection of any dreams from last night. I feel drained today
