"...Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past, you must fight just to keep them alive..."

I ran today. Woke up at *:30 and drank a bottle of water and waited a few minutes then went down to Hoover to run. I ran a perimeter and pretty quickly compared to other times I have run it. As I neared the end I heard an air horn which frightened me and cause me to run faster. I then finished the last leg at a slowly advancing run (finished strong). It sucked and felt good at the same time. So I decided to walk slowly down to the track to cool down and then do a few sprints, knee permitting.

As I was walking, I heard the air horn again and jumped. On the way down I saw Cuban in a truck and talked to him for a few minutes, it seems he has a scholarship to Grandview for soccer. Good for Cuban. No seriously, that's cool. Anywho I get down to the track and realize the field is being mowed so I decide to run on the track. I'm settingm y feet and what do I hear? The air horn. After that I did a sprint for like 5o or so yards (The field was unmarked so it was hard to tell). After that rousing burst of energy I was trained and happy to know that my knee could handle a sprint. I must talk to Troy sometime about his opinion on whether I may come back earlier with a brace vs later without. I also found out it was a football manager blowing the horn and that manager turned out to be Kate, the last person I ever saw managing football. Go figure.

After my little workout I got to my car and realized that I locked my car when I got out with my keys in the divider as I'm sure you can imagine I can't carry my keys with me while I run. The jingle is enough to drive a man mad. So I tried to stick my arm through the cracked window and hit the unlock button. All I can say is curse my massive forearms. So then I think on my options. I can go inside and possibly be screamed at by an angry administrator for being at school, face a locked door, or wait for football to break and use Randrew or someone else's phone to call my Mother, or brake off a piece of tree and strive to unlock the damn door at all costs, or run to a friend's house and beat down the door. I used the stick. I then went home and, after a shower, just sat around. I also took Buick to the shop in hopes that it will be ready for school Thursday. If any are driving to Central after second from Hoover, let me know, I may need a hand.
