So Shane called today. Turns out we begin practices Tuesday. I will be there running and doing drills, sliding all over the place because I can't wear cleats yet. We will be entering the chevy cup and many more tourneys this fall so it has become apparent that I must begin my exercising and running this week. Perhaps I can formulate my routine as school starts Thursday. Either way it is time I stopped telling people I will be back soon and that I will have lost little and gained what I lost back and claimed my lost dreams and the passion I had for them so long yet so little a time ago.
School starts Thursday as I have subtely pointed out already. Am I ready? Well sure, just school. What I am not ready for is the string of sudden decisions I need to make. Those are an unsurmountable obstacle in my path. I don't know that I can do it alone but I will find help and be guided towards what I need to see and hear. I haven't lost the faith yet, despite a small piece of hell that dropped upon my shoulders this past March. Being a Senior also means it is time I matured a bit as well as all those reading this. We must be examples for those who look upon us. Rememeber just a few years ago when you looked upon the Seniors with awe and respect and you couldn't quite figure out why. Well now we are looked upon whether the prying eyes mean to or not they are set upon us and we must bear the burden, I know I will do what I can. The difficult part will be growing and maintaing my sense of fun as well. I enjoy being a dumbass soemtiems and screwing around, the trick is to know when it is appropriate and what is a good idea.
I went to the fair Saturday night with my dad to see Boston. It was pretty cool. I had heard Boston, but not knowing it was them (ie had heard songs on the radio) and that concert was really good. Came out and played three encore songs then lit the fireworks. I couldn't help but wonder what that would be like, to be drained from a performance andh ave a huge crowd demanding more. Do you just say "Hey listen, We are really tired and we gave you all our guitar pics....we're done...go home." It was a good time. I also counted 15 mullets and 1 skullet, aww the bad haircuts ofthis world.
I watched Kung Pao the other day with Brett on the word of Chris and Kody from works' word that it was hillarious. It was. It was stupid hillarious but hillarious enough. It was actually and 1976 Kung Fu movie that they took and inserted some computer animation into and redubbed. Hillarity ensued. I have the Silent Hill 3 trailer music in my head. What i Silent Hill 3 you ask? My answer to you is, it is a crappy game people like and it's better if yo uare never forced to succomb to the slow torture of having to endure it. Also on a side note, Joaquin Pheonix works at the mall at the lotion booth outside Victoria's Secret by Piercing Pagoda. Seriously the guy is like his twin. Joaquin Pheonix is the actor who played Caesar in Gladiator and Mel Gibson's brother is Signs.
Also on Senior night for soccer my quote will be "My name is Gladiator." Why? because it's better than "Never give Up."
That's all I wrote for this time. Iff you need something or need to talk give me a call and perhaps we can do so. If yo udon't know my number, well then, evaluate how much yo uwish to speak to me and if it turns out you do, you'll find a way. Or rather a way will find you.
