Since I’m on the subject of silly cinematic robots - while the robot in The Robot vs. the Aztec Mummy has to be a contender for most absurd movie robot I think the one in The Deathless Devil has it beaten. For those not familiar with the fabulous world of Turkish pop cinema (shame on you) The Deathless Devil is a stupendously camp 1973 Turkish movie which I highly recommend. And it’s available on DVD, from Mondo Macabro.
