1) Freaks, Spider-Baby, and Carnival of Souls 2) Roger Corman, whose autobiography was one of the things that got me into filmmaking. A close second would be John Waters 3) Weimar-era German horror and campy 50s/60s drive-in movies (AIP and its knockoffs) 4) Delinquent Daughters - it was your pretty standard "teens in peril" exploitation flick, except that it was a crappy transfer and about half the film was a blank screen.
1. Glen or Glenda, Vampyros Lesbos, The Brain that Wouldn't Die
2. I have a huge soft spot for Ed Wood.
3. b-grade science fiction/horror from the 1950s - early 1970s. And some exploitation/wip movies.
4. Venus in Furs. I didn't mind it, but didn't enjoy it as much as I had hoped that I would... I think that I built up my expectations about it a little too much.
1.) Sex & Fury, Vampyros Lesbos, Thriller: They Call Her One Eye
2.) Jess Franco
3.) To be generic - exploitation - though I would love to specifically say pinky violence but those are so hit or miss - at their best they are outstanding fun
4.) All the Colours of the Dark - it was brilliant - it’s the kind of film that makes me consider renting more giallo films

I'm not much of a fan of giallo movies, but that one is very very good.
