The incredibly big fat book of big fat things

I wanted to write a novel. I still do. But the one I wanted to write would be THE novel. You know, the one I believed all authors aspired to write. And therein lay the problem. The only novel I could hope to write was one which pleased me beyond anything else, even my favourite stuff by other people. so I figure I'm gonna try and deal with the problem with that sort of a lever. I just need somewhere to stand. Somewhere pretty solid.

Which is why I drew a map. There has to be somewhere pretty solid here somewhere. I reckon. I mean, it's my world after all, so I should be able to find somewhere, wouldn't you say?
