wanderings...
Lately I have found myself writing in my journal here at the house, as I haven't felt like communicating with anyone. Been dealing with issues of personal importance, and therefore not making interesting reading for myself or any other soul who may wander amongst the many journals found at this site. Tonite, I spent the last hour reading over a friend's journal, trying to catch up on his end of the world.
also received an email from a friend back in cleveland, who i'll just name "squirrely". It was a nice note inquiring about my latest activities, and he had run into another former friend of ours who I hadnt' heard from in many years. He forwarded j's email addy to me, and I have yet to figure out if I want to renew the afformentioned friendship in any way (refer to paragraph 1).
tonite I spent a lot of time with my puppy. Puppy, jeesh she's growing faster than my gut as of late. She's so adorable, probably the best thing that has happened to me in a very long time. Just because I give her bottled water doenst' mean i'm spoiling her right?? i've been bringin her to the shop lately, trying to get her "socialized" which is kindof ironic considering how i've felt lately. I felt bad because I was stuck at work, and missed her hourly wednesday nite with her friend dogs....cleverly entitled "yappy hour".... gawd we dog luva's have too much time on our hands.
finishing up another run of the mill mysterythriller, but this one is a bit better than the run of that mill. Also rereading in spurts "life of pi"... and trying to find sum of my buddhist books to invigorate me, and get me out of my slump. Doesnt' help that a friend of mine here is suicidally depressed, and i have no clue outside the hospital numbers i gave him, how to help. I only listen to him, and hope that helps.
well its 5:22am, and my day's begun. Time to hit the treadmill, considering i havent' used it in 3 months...sad when the maids have to dust it... billie always wonders why the hell i'm walking in one position, then tries to hop on with me...she's so cute. If i ever get my act together, i'll add sum pics of her on this thing....
