Warning: Major spoilers for the first volume of Gravitation Ex.

When he starts to stumble, his fingers reach for your wrist on instinct, but they never make it. You tell him it’s okay, you’re there to help, you’re there for him. He tells you to shut up.

When he’s talking to you, but looking at a lamppost, you let him, for a moment, if only because you know he’ll notice if you actually move into his line of, well, not vision. But if, after a minute or two, he doesn’t realize it on his own, you go ahead and step in front of the post, so passersby don’t think he’s crazy. He pauses because now he can feel you there, and he frowns and stops talking.

When he tries to kiss you, you find yourself still getting used to having to lead him to your lips. It’s the one thing he’ll let you do. He doesn’t tell you he can handle it on his own; he doesn’t change his mind and give up on it; he doesn’t push you away. It’s an action, a submission, just large enough for you to know he needs you. And you make sure to never disappoint.
