Why I Love Oregon
1) You can kill yourself legally with a doctor-written script; and
2) The entire voting process is all paper ballots, all mail-in (or drop off), and all early voting, making it impossible for anyone to have an excuse to not vote.
...Also, 3) The mayor of Portland is a good-looking gay man.

While in the parking lot at Petco, appropriately enough, I heard what sounded like a UFO coming towards me. I thought perhaps it was a car with a horrible belt slipping problem. Then I looked up. It was a flock of over 300 migrating geese flying overhead in their familiar V formation. It was so beautiful I actually laughed out loud.
