I had the cover of this sheet music in my photo folder. Tonight I looked it up and found it on Soundcloud. It's meant to be sung by a "Jewish" singer like Fanny Brice, but this singer is rather prim which makes the "Oy!"s pretty funny. But not in the way they were intended.

Whatever other feelings (or lack thereof) I have about this season ender, this is a great video. The vocal is Ruth, Brianna and Emily!!!  It beautifully captures the bravery of the guys and acknowledging their history without going for pathos or nobility. Much, much better than the show itself.

What a shock...Prince was the soundtrack of my youth. "Purple Rain" blew me away. As an actor Prince was curiously passive, but when he got onstage: OMG!!

This is a video from the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame the year he was inducted. His guitar solo starts at 3:20. Prince is just fucking amazing.  Timothy Omundsun posted this on Twitter yesterday.
