My mother died peacefully this morning after a long illness. She was difficult and could be a major bitch. But she was my mother, and I will miss her. I'm so sorry for your loss. She was such a fighter, I thought she might hold on a little longer.

Actually, the past two weeks she took an abrupt turn for the worse. I'm not surprised she died. It's a relief. She was suffering so much.
