Catching up: - Saturday
Ok, so Saturday I got up late - yay! and had some brekkie. Then my cousin Judy and I vegged out on the sofa and watched t.v - my other cousin Kate was due to come over in the evening - but she texted me in the morning saying she would be here by the afternoon :-) this was nice, because my grandma was making a family lunch - sausage casserole - yummy, which meant Kate would be here for that!! so dad and judy went over to my grandparents for a while in the morning, and I stayed at home chilling out on the sofa, it was so nice just to rest!! then we went over to my grandparents for lunch - and we cracked open a bottle of wine. It was so nice to have some female company around - I was actually able to have a good giggle and wind up dad, hehe!! Lunch consisted of lots of yummy food and wine!! and I was very drunk - which was great!! my cousin Kate and I were so sloshed, lol - and we were falling all over the place, which had my grandparents in hysterics - lol - I then had an idea that me and my cuz should go up town, seeing as we were totally buzzed, lol - so after we had eaten we came back to our house and we got ready to hit the town, hehe!! it was so funny trying to find kate an outfit, coz she is so tiny! and my boobs are just huge!! but we managed to find a lovely cream top with embroidered flowers on it, that mum had bought me from Singapore. I found I was shutting myself away at times, either in my room or bedroom - coz I just neeeded to have a good cry. I also broke down infront of my cousins about three times, but it was ok - because they were there to give me a hug and talk things through - I am lucky to have such a wonderful family. After Kate and I had finished getting ready, dad took a pic of us all dressed up! and then Nick dropped us into town. We went EVERYWHERE!! and we got totally plastered, lmao! First we went to meet my mates Phil,Damo,Nick and Suki from work- and then after a few drinks with them, we moved onto Revolution -the Vodka bar - my second home!! Kate and I were dancing our little butts off and then we met up with Cassie and Lucy, they were so trashed too - it is always great to see people you work with drunk - it means big piss-taking at work when you see them next - yay!! lol - then we went to Reflex - the 80's bar and we danced the night away to the best cheesy music - woohoo!! where we met up with Luke, Aaron and Andy - my fellow team at work - I love those guys, they just crack me up - especially Aaron in his pink converse trainers and his Gucci handbag, tehehehe! so we did alot more dancing and then we went off to meet Nick's bro Tim, who was also in town! omg , boy was he wrecked!! then went to Walkabout - South African Bar- and had Snake Bites - mmmmmm mmmmm!! and then I met up with James and Bradley. God what a night, we were just so drunk and everyone was having such a good time - it felt so strange knowing that I hadnt been up town since mum passed away. I had missed everyone so much!!! and I am just glad I was able to enjoy myself again - exactly what mum would have wanted. Then I went to meet my friend Michael, mum had alot of time for him, we have known each other for years, and when his dad died, mum helped his whole family through. My dad went over on Xmas day, to put his scale-etrix (sp?, lol) together :-) - so around 1am I started to feel sad, so I knew it was time to go home!! I think it was because Michael and I had been chatting alot about mum, and it had just got to me without realising. So, Kate and I went to order a taxi, and then we got back to mine around 1.30am. We got in, took a glass of water each to my room, and stayed up chatting till about 4.30am!!! we also looked at pictures and just had a good cry about mum. It was really nice - Kate has always been such a lovely person, and has always said that she has felt like a sister to me, - which was a lovely thing to say, because we have both been brought up with older brothers, so female company was scarce!!
Sunday:
Eventually, Kate and i got up, and my other cuz came into my room and we sat around on the bed chatting and laughing, it looked like a slumber party!! lol - i made them laugh with some funny stories about difficulties I encounter with my big boobs - one was at the gym, I used to row, but when I was getting fitted for my wedding dress, I was told that this form of exercise was making them bigger, lmao!!
I had no idea. The other story, was being at Val's last weekend, we both came out of her kitchen with our breakfast, and you come out of a little arch to the dining room - and we got stuck, coz they are such big mamma's lol!! and then dad came in and gave us all a cup of tea with home-made buttery scones with jam - mmmmmm mmmmm!!! So we eventually got up lol and then we decided to do some wedding stuff, before my grandparents turned up for Sunday roast. It was lovely being able to show everything for the wedding to my two cuz's, they were so excited and assured me that they were intending to make it a very special day for me. :-) we then went to the kitchen and started all the veggies - whilst dad did the beef, yummy!! my dad went to pick up my grandparents at 1, and then we ate and drank all afternoon!! it was so nice to see my grandad coming out with his old stories, and cracking the whole table up, lol - then my grandparents went home around 3 o'clock - whilst Kate and I went shopping in town, yay! I went to Next and bought a really pretty pink stoned butterfly necklace, a new cable for my t.v, and then we went to visit my friends at work.I then went to make sure the delivery of my grandparents' replacement grills, were going to be coming soon for their barbeque, which they were!! and then Kate met a few of my mates, Hannah, Paul and Dawn, and we came home, after buying the biggest box of cookies we could find!! when we got home, we sat with Judy and dad and munched these with a cup of tea - they were so delicious!! then Kate had to leave to get back, she lives in Wimbledon, which is around a 40 minute drive from here. Then Judy and i watched our Mauritius holiday video, which made us smile alot, and cry!! there were some lovely shots of her mum on there, which made her very emotional, but it was a video she hadnt seen, so she was enjoying it. My mum was on it too, and there was some lovely footage of her, which I really loved to see. After this, Judy and dad had to get an early night, as they were having to get up at 6am! so that Judy didnt miss her train, lol - so I said goodnight and goodbye to her, and i went to my room. I then had a really lovely chat with Andy before bed, and it was great catching up with him, as it felt like it had been absolute ages!! where has this week gone?! lol - back in work tomorrow, and intending to have a lazy day today, as I am totally knackered!! lol - hope all is well with everyone.
