Yesterday was a lazy day, and as I am a day behind, I cant actually remember it, lol anyway, my cousin arrived in the afternoon (mum's 1st cousin) and we went food shopping!! after that, we went over to see my grandparents and had a cup of tea. Grandma was busy with her arts and crafts, she is just so talented! and grandad was watching t.v, as its his only chance, hehe. After that, Judy and I came home and we ordered a chinese, woohoo!! she had bought a bottle of red wine too, which we poilished off in seconds!! then Nick and Rach came over, and I almost fell over when I answered the door, lol - Rach was like 'you lush'! hehehe! so they came on in and we watched t.v whilst chilling, nice n'relaxed. Then dad thought it would be a nice idea to watch a video of our holiday to Zimbabwe - as Judy was here -my Rhodesian cuz! which was a lovely idea. So, then we got to watch all the generations of our family, it was so nice - some really nice shots of mum too - made me cry, but they were so good to see. The smiles, the laughter, she was just a beautiful woman. It was amazing to watch really, because so much has changed now. I went there in 1992, and it was just a beautiful country - and now that bastard Mugabi has totally ruined it - by murdering some of my family, ruining the lives of so many, by taking over their farms - their homes he destroyed, it was just such a horrific time. Thankfully, I do have some family that were luckily enough to move over here, but a few others are now living in the Congo.I think we eventually went to sleep around 2.30am lol - and then I had a good ole chat with Michael - (millerman!) on the phone. I was quite tearful after that, and he cheered me up - I love you man! xxx and then I fell asleepies, hehe - and had the best sleep I have had in a long time! yay! Now my cousin and my dad have gone to Homebase (D.I.Y store) and I am just waking up, lol and chatting to Mike from work on MSN - he is telling me all about his rampant sex life - you loony bin!! and now I must go and sort my room out, as my cousin Kate (who is also from Zimbabwe) will be staying over tonight. She is my favourite, a few years older, and an absolute sweetheart. So, it is busy busy Lis over and out - but still got time to keep the ole journal rolling!
*huglets to all*
