Straps and Laces Chapter 1 (Ichihime)
It was an early summer morning, birds chirping, kids playing, couples holding hands as they made their way along the sunny streets. Orihime deeply inhaled the aroma of her surroundings as she walked to the store. Summer sure was wonderful!
Spacing out as usual, Orihime accidentally crashed into the nearest person passing by, causing both of them to fall to the ground.
"I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry!" she started panicking, "There I go spacing out again....Oh no! I bet it was those pink ninja aliens using their mind controlling techniques on my brain! I, Inoue Orihime will not stand for your devilish ways!" she did a karate kick demonstrating the skills she'd use against her imaginary enemies, however completely forgetting about the person on the ground.
"Inoue?"
"Oh, Kurosaki-kun! Are you ok? Those monsters didn't hurt you, did they?" she asked as she started running her fingers through his hair checking for bumps and other damages.
"Err...I think you spent too much time out on the sun, Inoue," Ichigo said blushing at the contact, "You're hallucinating."
Ignoring him, she continued checking his head until she made sure that he wasn't hurt, before apologizing again.
"I'm sorry," she repeated, "Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?"
Of course Ichigo could think of many things at that moment, after all she was the most beautiful girl he's ever seen, and he had to admit that he had been drawn to her more lately than anyone else he could think of. But being a nice guy that he was, he had to decline.
"No, that's ok. I'm fine really," he protested, "Where were you headed to anyways?"
"I just needed to do a little shopping, so I was on my way to my favorite boutique!" she chirped, "Would you like to come along? I could really use someones opinion, since Tatsuki-chan has karate practice today."
"Sure," he agreed, Ichigo wasn't such an idiot to pass up a day with Orihime.
They made their way across the Karakura Bridge till they arrived at a cute little store with a sign that read:
'Hime's Lingerie Boutique"
