You are still a young'un, you know. :) We should go back to Queen Mary's and have a wee birthday tea.

That sounds great! I can be free in the afternoons somedays, especially Wednesdays.

I almost invaryingly forget to post such things. I actually posted on to twitter this week, mainly because of a confluence of events: I was looking at my calendar, it was the start of 8 days with at least one birthday on each day (except sunday), which drew my attention, AND my twitter client popped open with an update. So, I kinda suck towards everybody who doesn't have a birthday under those circumstances.

Enjoy being older than me for a while.

I don't think it is sucking, per se. I think about people on their birthday, call them if I have their number, and give them a present or a card if we are that close. I don't actually need people to post to my LJ about my birthday, although having someone I was close to at one time post to everyone else but me that shared my birthday, was rather pointed in their dismissal.

I will enjoy being older than you -- although I actually already have your birthday present picked out. :)

Fourth category: the terminally absent-minded.

Happy birthday!

Yeah. I think I'd remember to post only if I rolled a 20 on a 20-sider. Which isn't fair to the other 19 people....

I'm in category 4.5 - absent-minded and not always online.

I was going to try to be good about it, but I ended up deciding I'm in the third category regarding birthday posts, for the same reason you do. I can't be relied upon to remember to post more than 2 birthdays, and one of those I can wish "happy birthday" in person most years, and the other, I can contact privately very easily. (Hell, I think I have his cell number and could text him....)

I worry about it too -- which is why I don't post. But that doesn't mean I'm not thinking about people.

I think about people, as well, just not necessarily around their birthdays. :)

As long as you are thinking. :)

Wait ... how were you only two classes behind me if you're four years younger? Did you skip?

I did skip, Kindergarten and Third grade. BTW -- sorry we didn't make it to the party -- we were wiped from my young'un. The wee ones, they are tiring.
