so I turned 33 yesterday.
I don't always share everything about what I am thinking but people who know me well know that I tend to think about too much. one thing I have given a fair amount of thought to is the whole birthday LJ post. there are some people who unfailingly post greetings to everyone that automatically pops up next to their log in screen. there are those that post selectively, for reasons I don't know, and then there are those that don't post greetings at all. I am in the third category, mostly because I would hate to leave someone out if I posted to some and not others.
for those that do post to some and not others, on the same day, if they have a reason to exclude a person from something so basic as a three word post of generic happy birthday, then I would not think of that person as a friend.
in any event, i've been meaning to make some changes to my friends list for some time, removing some people who every time I see their name bring me only pain and sorrow. I should have done it well before now, but sometimes I am slow.
