One Day At A Time
I yearn for the day when spring will arrive in Fort McMurray. The days have been getting warmer and longer; however, the snow is still in huge piles everywhere. We need a massive heat wave before it will all be gone. To make matters worse, we have been having heavy snowfall warnings, and it is suposto snow all night tonight...... BOOOO! Least I know there will be a light at the end of the tunnel cause now it is April Yay! Spring is hopefully around the corner.
Last weekend I went with my friend Alana to a baby shower event so that she could gather info about babies and win prizes. It was kinda, well boring ha ha ha but I am glad I could be there to support her. Saturday Jess also had his friends over and they played the X-box. I think it did him good to have people over.
This week was a busy one at work and it flew by in a instant. I am glad it flew by!! On Thursday we had tacky tourist day in Hawaii.... IT was FUN! We eat lots, laughed lots, and dressed up to try and rid ourselves of the winter blah's.
*Note* I am the one in the blue Hawaiian shirt. Bet yah can't guess which two ladies are preggers? And NO it is not me!!
I am excited for this week cause on Thursday night we get to go home for Easter!! Can not wait to see family and friends. I am gonna do some hardcore shopping, since I can't get the things I love or need out here. This place is wearing us down so we need a little time outta Mac to recharge ourselves.

2. Pub night in April (our department is hosting it)
3. Possibly going to Grande Prairie in May for a conference .... Cross your fingers cause I really wanna go
4. Helping out with Convocation in May
5. Vacation at the end of June, beginning of July for two weeks
6. Planning our wedding
7. Getting married to my Jesse
8. Walks with Gizmo
9. Summer heat
10. Loosing weight
