flying
So we are flying we took off finally about 9:30AM.
I have been good and have used almost all of my index cards making flash card/study cards. I finally couldn't take it anymore I needed a break but before I wrote this I wrote up the worksheet for the fast plants for Bio. I will email it to my classmate who has the rest of the information when I hit the hotel. It's not as nice as predicted in Cali. they said the temp was about 53. darn it already I really wanted a taste of 80.
the mountains and hills are amazing from above. you can see the gradients. you have these tall lonely snow covered ones, then you have the black and white ones, and the variegated. Frozen rivers that are breaking up are really interesting well at least to me they are.
Well I can now say I have seen Las Vegas. well sort of. I saw it from the skies. Them are some honking huge hotels. it looks like Downtown. I'm curious if I will be able to see the area I am going to from the plane.
Boy the movies really exagerate how wide the aisles are in a plan. I could barely hobble and drag my bags down the aisle. I will just sit and bid my time when we disembark.
I was going to try to take a cat nap but I guess we are due to land in about 25 minutes I believe he said. I suppose that would be a true cat nap.
we had some killer turbelence when we were near Rock Creek Utah? or was it Wyoming. My seat neighbor let me leave my can of pop on his table since I was working on my cards and he held on to that while I tried to make sure I didn't spill my cup.
Hmm that looks like a desert but it has some interesting rivulets like a huge flood exploded then thinned back down.
