yes history does repeat itself
Years ago in grad school firiel44 and I were often confused for each other. This was due to many factors including the fact we were in the same grad program, looked somewhat alike, went to the same undergrad university etc. Well I now work full time with someone with the same first name as firiel44, and like before we have some of the same physical characteristics. History is repeating itself in that on several occasions I have been called by my coworker's first name, and one day another coworker talked to a patron on the phone and upon the physical description this coworker thought it was me and not the other lady. Every time I'm called by the other name I do laugh, it wouldn't be as funny if the coworker didn't have the same first name as firiel44.
