Scary
Folks sometimes I get very afraid when I deal with our current generation of students. Today 2 college girls came in asking for voter registration cards. This alone is nothing unusual, what happened while they were filling the cards out is unusual. Neither of them knew what county they had been born in, one of them used the other's phone to call someone. The 2nd one I had to gently tell the county name based on the city. She thought a neighboring city was actually the county name. Keep in mind having grown up in that county, how do you miss the county name???? Its not like it is a county far away from us, it is less than 50 miles to the center of that county. It was all I could do not to crack up laughing at it all.
