Dinner again!
I'd been invited to go and have lunch to celebrate Duane's birthday today, at the Sherwood Hotel in Macarthur, but I just couldn't get myself out of bed, nor find the energy or motivation to go.
And tonight was another dinner "date" with Jose, and I was *THIS* close to cancelling on him, but eventually I dragged myself out of bed to shower, dress, and drive in. But really only just a little before 4.30pm.
Headed on in, and grabbed a similar park to last week at 5.25pm, and paid $8.40 until 7.25pm. We were going to try Sushi Hotaru but ended up going back to Ichiban Boshi again. And this time, I also had the chicken karaage. Jose enjoyed his so much last time that he ordered it again.
We always have a nice time chatting, but it's quite hard in the restaurant. It's not exactly loud, but I seem to struggle to hear Jose, as he's quite softly spoken. This time, we did walk back to his hotel, and went up to his suite so we could chat in a nice quiet place. We actually did a FaceTime call with his husband, Wally, and I had a cup of herbal tea! Yes! A HOT drink...!!! I almost NEVER drink hot drinks. But this was a nice fruit blend, and was quite delicious, although I did have to let it cool down a bit before drinking it.
Then it was back to the car for the drive home!
