Decisions, decisions...
I got an email from the Sydney Opera House yesterday, as I'm on their mailing list. Like last year, I'm trying to continue the trend of actually committing to, and attending more shows and concerts, as I didn't really do anything like this in the many few years beforehand...
But I'm not too sure about this one. I enjoy Passenger's music, and have pretty much all his albums (in digital format), but I'm not too sure how much I'd enjoy a live performance - especially in such a large space like either of the main auditoriums at the SOH. And it's not until October, so that's just a little far to commit to. Maybe closer to the date, I'll make a decision - if there's still tickets available, of course.
But aside from having the most gorgeous voice, and being talented, he is also... easy on the eye. No mention on his Wikipedia page of him being married... Hmmmm...
And, of course... I didn't really do or achieve much today again. What a surprise. Although there WAS one surprise. In my bathroom's ceiling fan / light combo unit, the standard light hasn't worked for ages, and 1 of the two heat lamps hasn't worked for ages. And the only working one blew yesterday, so I did make myself get out to Bunnings, to buy 2 replacement heat lamps (at just AUD$10.28 each), plus an LED main lamp, which for a 2-pack, was just AUD$14.50. I even was totally butch, and got up on a chair to replace them. One of the lamp holder clips was loose, so getting the old lamp out was a bit difficult, but after that, I managed to get the clip back in, so that all lamps sat in the unit properly, and snug. And the light difference was amazing. And having TWO heat lamps for the upcoming winter period will be a luxury...
Go on. Admit it. You wouldn't kick him out of bed.
