VACATION!!!!
As most of you are aware, I do not take vacations very often. Its not that I do not have the days to use, I just don't take one. Well I am out here in CA (Los Alamitos) for a week, yes I did say A WEEK. BTW, the honeymoon starts on saturday. Afterall it is CA and you do know what they recently legalized in this state. Yes we are! Friday at 10am. BTW, what I say in LiveJournal, stays in Livejournal.
Well the vacation has gotten off to a shaky start. The flight from Harrisburg to Chicago and Chicago to Los Angeles was for the most part has been smooth, with only a few bumps from air pockets. Arrived at LA at 10:55am in Terminal 7 and got the most grand welcoming that I ever have had, when I had visited a place. Got my luggage and proceeded to the car rental shuttle. After about 15 min, it finally came. Proceeded to get the rental car and Robby (Enterprise) was showing the car to me. We put the luggage in the trunk and just as I closed the trunk, the car bounced up and down a few times. I thought, damn I did not close it that hard. But Robby said, did you feel that, we are having a earth quake. As I stood there watching the other cars also bouncing and feeling the ground shake. Damn, it was an earthquake, thank God it only lasted about 15-20 seconds, but it measured 5.8. Since the earthquake, there has been roughly 30 aftershocks.
Hopefully the rest of the vacation goes more smoothly. Yes HbgPaBear, I know that I am big but not that big to shake the area from Los Angeles to San Diego to Las Vegas. Guess it was just God's way of saying, welcome to CA and enjoy your new start in life.
Planning on taking Rich to Palm Springs on Sat to an all male resort call All World Resort. Am hoping that we can still get in and it has not sold out at this point.
