My 6 Month Posting!!
Ok, its time for a posting here. Guess it has been about 6 months since I have actually posted something on here. Yea, I have responded to a few postings but not actually posted one of my own lately.
Where should I begin? Good question!!!!
Okay here it goes....First let me begin by saying in advance, I AM SORRY. If you read my posting, please do not read anything more into it than what I have typed. Do not read between the lines and do not insert words that I did not type. If you have a problem with something that I have posted, please contact me, maybe what you had read and what I meant is not the same and let me clarify things before you start pointing fingers at some of the words which I may have meant in a differ sense of meaning than what you has taken it as.
Ok, here are some of recent things that have been happening with myself:
January ....Grandson's First Birthday
February ....Busy at work and Rich is considering switching jobs
March ....Rich decides to leave Lancaster labs. There is no advancement for him at Lancaster Labs since he will not show his boss some dick when she bends over. Actually, his boss is promoting all of her drinking female friends to leadership positions, some of which have only been with the company a few weeks/months and have no leadership skills.
April ....Rich starts at his new job at Bayer. Hmmm, he can get some Bayer products very cheap at the company store, including my diebetic supplies. Plus, he loves his job.
May ....We finally went on our first vacation since we met over 4 years ago. Went to Myrtle Beach and had a blast with Richard, Jamie, Scott, John, Mikie and Chris. Made new friends and kept in contact.....will be seeing them again in Roanoke VA in August. A few days after getting back from vacation, I was placed on doctored ordered bed rest as I had an infection in my left leg for a week. Infection cleared up, as when I was on bed rest, I tossed around some ideas concerning my health. If the infection would have spread to the bone, I would have been an amputee. I need to lose weigh which clear up many health issues and possibly would mean that I would not need to use my CPAP machine any more.
June ....I have been busy working in Newark NJ, so for the most part of this month I have not been at home during the week. On June 29th, Rich flies to Los Angeles for 6-8 weeks for his job....all expense paid trip. June 23rd, I go and see a vascular specialist to discuss the possibility if I have lymphodemia. Which is possible, since I did have some lymph modes removes when I had my cancer surgery 10 years ago. On June 30th, I go for the first step of the weight issue. At 8:30 on the 30th, I go for the gastric Bypass evaluation...if all goes as planned, I should be having the procedure done sometime around the end of the end or at the beginning of 2009. I have been selected to take part in a research study at Hershey Med for individuals with high blood sugar levels, at this point not sure if the gastric bypass will disqualify me from the program, but hey if it doesn't, at least I get paid for the study. Go to the doctor for the study on July 1st.
While Rich is in Los Angeles, he is going to check into their same-sex marriage guidelines. Mybe we will be sporting a ring on our finger soon also. He is one of the best things that has happened to me and am ready to show him that I am willing to do anything for him to show him this. We have been talking committment/marriage for some time now, this just may be our opportunity to show our love to each other.
Tomorrow, my 23 yo nephew arrives to stay with us for 6 weeks while he does his 6 week internship at the Harrisburg Hospital and then he may be back here again in 6 weeks after that to do a 6 week internship at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill. The internship is a requirement for he is study to become a PA.
Oh yes, one last thing....Rich and I both have been looking at houses, yes we are going to be buying a house here in the Harrisburg/Hummelstown/Hershey area. Will let you know the progress of the health decisions and the house buying. We are hoping to moved into a house by Nov 1st since our lease expires here on Oct 31st. Definitely do not want to stay here for another year living over this man whom smokes his cigars and the smell just indates our apartment, spoke to the office about it and there is nothing that can be done about it. Well yes there is, we move!!!!!
Oh yes, the son-law has accidentally left it slip that are planning on adding another child to the family. Hmmm, another grandchild. LOVE THE IDEA!!
