NYC Day 5: Intrepid and Wicked
We've been having pretty lazy mornings all week. We lounge a bit when we wake up, then go down for breakfast, compliments of the hotel. Though we do find it's better to go down earlier than later, as it seems most people are having lazy mornings

I love that you've gone to support your daughter's fandom needs! I had no idea that MLP was such a big thing and that it was still going. I had some when I was little, including a mermaid / seahorse type one that came in a shall. They hung out with my plastic Care Bears and had epic adventures!
I don't know how long you've got left, but I would highly recommend a few hours just mooching about sheep's meadow in Central Park, it's such a lovely place to hang out and because it's away from the roads etc it feels less sticky and hot when the weahter is hanging on you. Also, if you've not been there, the Guggenheim Museum is worth visiting for the architecture alone, but it's also worth paying for the art; there are some beautiful pieces. It's less full than MoMA.

MLP has a new series out, created by Lauren Faust, who also worked on Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. It's not just the ponies--it's the stories and the animation... The ponies have been redesigned and different personalities. So it has to be the Friendship is Magic ponies.
