One good turn deserves another
So Kat and I have now switched places. Last night she left the lights on in my mom's car while she was at work. Of course when she came out the battery was dead. Our friend Scott played the hero and picked her up since there was no way I was going out in that hell-atious storm after being so sick. This morning I drove her to work and spent about an hour trying to jump start my mom's car to no avail. It is deader then a door knob. Every time I disconnected the cables it would die again. So just as I am getting ready to give up Kat comes shuffling out of her office and tells me they are sending her home. She has been in bed ever since and is sleeping now. So far her temp has only gotten up to 100.6, but she has been hacking up a lung. I personally blew a blood vessel in my eye from all the coughing so I won't be surprised if she does too. Hopefully we can get her through this without having to take her to the doctor, but if she isn't on the road to recovery by tomorrow I am going to insist on it. She can be so stubborn sometimes.
