I Don't Know If I Know

I am finally starting to feel better. After a weekend of endless hacking my lungs are less congested. The PA says that I sound better, but that I need to keep using the nebulizer for a few days. She also gave me some samples of Singulair to use. She thinks that the problem stems from the lack of snow, believe it or not. There have been many other ( Read more... )

***Luckily, the Boss's wife is back from California, and has let me know that they miss me but that I am to stay at home until I'm fully well. I really like that woman! ***

Totally!

A good thing about my old office was that everyone there was ultra-paranoid about getting germs so if I had the slightest cough, I had carte blance to stay home if I felt like it.

Of course it does make sense. I'd rather do a little extra work than get sick.

So in my non-professional medical opinion, you should stay home for at least another day. Maybe two. (-:

***And people wonder why I insist on having BBCAmerica!***

I don't have cable TV (and don't even pick up regular broadcast stations) so I got to see BBC America for the first time this weekend when I went to visit my parents. Pretty much, I just wanted to see the new Dr. Who episodes (I haven't seen the show since back when Slyvester McCoy had the role.) I enjoyed it but was even more impressed by a show after it. Wish I could remember the title but it was about a psychic. Very suspenseful and well written.

Almost makes me want to go through the hassle of getting cable. Almost but not quite.

Might the show after Doctor Who have been Eleventh Hour? I am taping a bunch of those episodes today while at work. (Patrick Stewart stars in this show.)

By the way, I did go in to work Wed. & Thurs., but only worked half a day each day. Took Friday (a normal day off) off to rest.
