Stalled & Sputtering

An update to the work story: I go to work on Thursday, and Boss tells me that the computer guy (and everyone else) was there until 2 am fixing the bugs.

I go into my office, and the computer is turned off. I ask Boss, "Is there something wrong with my computer?" Boss replies that, no, it was just turned off. So I say, "Well, it doesn't really make any sense to turn it on if I can't get logged in to use it." Boss then proceeds to turn on my computer and log in for me, again muttering about how he has to get me a log-in/password. I barely even use the computer all day, because Boss's Daughter decides to do all the invoices herself.

At least no one clicked on the wrong printer that day!

Thursday, Dave & I get home to find that the inheritance check has finally arrived. Dave eagerly takes it to the credit union on Friday, only to find out that they will only allow $400 something to be released immediately. $4000 will be released next Friday, and the balance on the Friday after that. I am pissed for 2 reasons:
1. This means 2 more f'ing weeks of having to drive Dave to work, and
2. The damn cashier never even asked him for ID. However, when I took my measley $70 first check there and forgot my ID, no one would allow me to deposit it. The cashier had to humiliate me in front of the whole damn bank by asking (loudly) if anyone there recognized me. I was forced to go to the car and get Dave to come in with his ID.

Well, it's back to work tomorrow, after not getting any significant relaxation this weekend. Would anyone like to bet that I still don't have a log-in/password by the end of the week?
