Quickie
it's been pretty busy around here, working with the cards and all. I have 3 designs down, and one to go. They're looking good. Got the captions picked for all but one of them as well. Working on the webpage redesign. Matthew tells me that he expects final quotes from the printers tomorrow, which will let us set the price once and for all. Even before getting the final printing costs we know it's going to cost more than the $15 for 16 cards we had originally hoped to charge - after all, we're not looking to break even here, we're looking to make at least a little money! ;-) Fortunately, the people we've run the proposed price past seem to be pretty comfortable with it, and if it's too high, I suspect we'll find out pretty fast.
This weekend will be a break for all concerned - seems to be Travel Weekend this weekend. Keith and Fred are off to the Dakotas, Matthew is doing a Haunt in San Diego; Paul, Bond and I are going to St. Louis to hit Six Flags Frightfest on Saturday and meet up with my younger brother and parents. They say they are going to see Bond before Thanksgiving, Or Else.
On the potty-training front: While Bond still will NOT tell me he needs to pee 9 out of 10 times during the day, he will go if I take him to the toilet. This is resulting in a lot fewer accidents - my water bill will someday go down. And just now, he woke up out of a sound sleep, bone dry, to be taken to the potty, peed, and went back to bed. I'm wondering if this kid is going to be nighttime-trained before he's daytime trained - that would be wierd. I may have to look into taking the gate down from across his room at night, to let him get to the bathroom if he needs to. I don't want to, though, because I don't hear him right away at night the way I used to, and he will wander the house, given the opportunity.
I think I just won't worry about it tonight. ;-)
