(no subject)
This hotel is way disorganized. I was really starting to wonder why Nancy sent me here, that Wesley guy seems really distracted and not a whole lot of help. He's always got his nose in a book, along with the mousy chick that I think someone said was his wife. Meanwhile, there's this freaky blue-haired...um, if I didn't know that technology wasn't that advanced I'd almost say she's a robot. She keeps following him around asking weird questions. Um, except for when she came down to the training room and wanted to fight us. Wesley came running down the stairs and got her out of there, I guess he was worried we'd hurt her with out combined superstrength or something.
Then Angel was trying to get us all training together, along with the slayer, Faith. But the last few days he's been like brooding non stop. Finally that Gunn guy stepped in. Decided those of us who were good with weapons could actually go out patrolling, with him and mousy girl, and I got to go. Dude, even if he's cranky about the music, he's pretty hot, especially when he's fighting those...um, can't remember what kind of demon, just big with the slime. I got in a couple good shots with the crossbow, but I was glad I was standing back when Gunn and Faith finished them off.
But the vampires? Highly overrated as dangerous predators. I kind of thought Nancy was nuts talking about deadly speed and mercilessness, when we first ran into a few of them. They were all like mopey, talking about voices and feeling guilty. Until Wesley told us the vampires currently all have souls and that's why they're not all with the eating people. Kinda seems too easy to stake them when they're like this.
