As one show ends... another begins.

The Foreigner ended it's run at Civic on Sunday. It was sort of an anti-climactic ending.
I say anti-climactic only because the show was still selling really well, and it was still a tremendous amount of fun.

Another thing the show did, was re-establish my confidence as an actor. As many out there know, I was just about ready to kind of "retire" as an actor.
I had figured I had no skills for it, and I was going to just stick with writing and improvising... but now my mind has changed.

I know, that primarily I need to concentrate on writing... improvising helps my writing (and plus thats my family, and a lot of fun) so I will concentrate on that

And sprinkle more acting in every now and then.

Speaking of acting, I was cast in two of the shows in the Playwright's Forum Festival.
So now instead of just watching the play I wrote, I get to act in two, AND watch the play I wrote.

Speaking of... the cast of "Always" has been set.
Assuming they accept (Which one definately has) the cast will be:
David: Max Nightser
Sam: Kari Severns
Pierce: Ted Redman

I couldn't be happier with the cast, and am looking so forward to watching this play come to life.
Im still pretty scared, as it isnt a full-on comedy (there's probably more drama to it, than comedy), but I'm certain that this cast and director will do me right.

Otherwise, not a lot going on. Just putting my schedule together, and looking forward to getting back to Blue Door tonight...

Hope things are well for ya'll

:-)
