I'm on Break! :)
So, spring break is officially here, finally!
The last couple weeks have been pretty good. Last Thursday I went to the SLCE etiquette dinner thing with Deb Fine, that was a lot of fun. I got to see a lot of people I know and meet a lot of new people. And Katie, the former ASCSU president was the alumni representative at my table, so that was cool.
Last Friday night I hung out with Josh and Aaron M. We went to Buffalo Wild Wings (that was my first time, it was really good) and then we watched Mr. and Mrs. Smith. It was a lot of fun getting to hang out with them, I'm going to be sad when they're gone next year.
Saturday I worked, a lot and stopped by the party they were having upstairs (it was weird, Chance invited me to my neighbors' party), it was fun. Then on Sunday Josh and I went for a run, I ran a total of about 5 miles (most of that was not with him), it felt so good. So I guess you could say the triathlon training is coming along well. Then I worked and then got together with Brooke, Jordan, Jason and this new guy Gabby to do our advance calc. homework. It was tough, as usual, but we got through it by the time the library closed (barely). It was fun hanging out with them, I just love all those guys.
This week was pretty crazy. We had a LTM on Monday and then a fun Rosh Chodesh event. On Weds. Kayla and I started apartment hunting for next year, we found one place that might work. Yesterday I worked and then had a physics test (which was very difficult), and then I drove home home to Lakewood, yay!
So yeah, I decided to take today off of school, so my spring break got to start a day ealry. Today I went to the LHS assembly so I could see Pat in the Prom Fashion show, it was so awesome, he was great. His partner was Cora and they used the song "Baby don't hurt me" and did the head bobbing thing as their dance move, it was really cute. It was also fun getting to see a lot of my old teachers, including Bill, G., Mr. Rons, Ms. Morley and Mrs. Hunt, among others. It was nice to be there for another assembly (my 13th, haha), it made me even more excited to teach in High School. After that, I came back home to make some posters for the Broncos Benefit Basketball game tonight and just hung out with my mom. I took Brady for a walk, and soon I will be going to the girls golf practice and then helping with all the Broncos basketball game stuff, should be fun.
We're leaving for Chicago on Sunday, I am so excited!!! It's going to be a fun trip. So, that's it for now, I'm out.
