School, school, school

Well, school started yesterday, and I actually think it's going to be a pretty good semester.

Yesterday I had M317, which is Advanced Calculus of one variable. It was kinda bad, I went into the wrong classroom. The professor handed out the syllabus and I realized that it was Calc 2, which I took 2 years ago, so I went next door to my actual class, it was a little embarassing, but I was discreet so it was alright. I think that class is going to be alright, it's taught by my advisor, which is pretty cool. I also know Jordan, Jason and Brooke in there, which is nice. It's going to be a really hard class, but I think we're going to study with Jason and Jordan which should help. I also had PLP (the President's Leadership Program year 3), which was fun as usual. We were a little out of control with the laughter, it was a grand 'ol time. They also told us about some people in the other section of the class who bought their final papers from last semester, it really saddened me that people went to such lengths. I mean, we are the leaders of our university, and there is no excuse for that, I hope they get what they deserve. That was all I had yesterday because I didn't have my physics lab and recitation yet, which was greatly appreciated.

So, today I had ED464, which is Methods and Materials in Teaching Math. It was really difficult to find the classroom, but once I did it went well. There's only 12 people in the class, and I know 7 of them. 6 of them were in my M330 class last semester, as was the professor, so it was like a reunion. I'm excited for that class, I should learn some important skills that will help me be a great math teacher. Then I had M317 again. Then I hung out at the Hillel table and handed out hot chocolate and such. That was fun because I saw a lot of people that I know walk by, so I was able to catch up with them. Then I had PH122, which is Physics 2 with Jeremy. I'm not really looking forward to that class, but it shouldn't be too bad, and Jeremy and I will be able to do the homeworks together which will help a lot. Then I had M470, which is Euclidean and Non-Euclidean Geometry. That class is going to be really difficult, but I think the material is going to be pretty interesting, and the teacher seems pretty cool, which is very important for me. I also know a lot of people in class. It's about half of my ED464 class, plus Jason, so we should be able to form study groups and work together, so that'll be fun.

Well, those are all my classes, it's going to be tough semester, but I think I will have fun as well, since I know so many people in my classes.

So, today was also great because I got to see Ashley, who I hadn't seen in a month. She had a great time in Israel which makes me happy. I also got to see Rachael, who's birthday was today. I really missed her over break, it's crazy how weird it is to not talk to her every day. And, tonight Pamela is coming up here, I have missed her so much! I can't wait to see her :) So, overall, today is a pretty great day, unfortunately it is now time to get some homework done so that I can truly enjoy "Lost" tonight.
