Operation Typewriter Monkey, Day 2: The Unwritening!

Jun 16, 2010 21:04

Today, I did nothing toward this project or goal. I have a few reasons, such as a day job and my social gaming commitment that was made before this project was started, but I still did not write and therefore did wronged. The gaming was fun, though, a session of Mutants and Masterminds run by my friend Yvonne, where I play a high-level air-based Israeli character named Ari. On the creative / sorta-writing-but-not-really front, I did some more brainstorming on the concept of Decopunk, an aesthetic (in the same vein as Steampunk) centered around the period between about 1925 and 1941 and the Art Deco movement. You can see my brainleavings on that subject here.

Day: 2 (June 16, 2010)
Project: Grandfather Klaus (Novel)
Words Written: 0 (of 247)
Scheduled Hours: 2
Hours Spent With Butt In Chair: 0
Time Spent Writing: 0
Pieces Finished: 0
Pieces Submitted: 0

That's a whole lot of zeroes. I'll have to make up for that tomorrow. For now, it's off to my disappointingly non-Deco bed.
