Sorry it’s so late, you know how life gets
Roses? No, too…conventional. Sara was about as unconventional as they came. She was beautiful, but not classically so, brilliant, but socially awkward, and young, yet wise beyond her years. No…roses wouldn’t do.
Carnations? No, too…high school. His feelings for her were anything but juvenile. He had longed for her, lusted after her, and finally embraced the fact that he was in love with her. No…carnations wouldn’t do.
He knew flowers weren’t the answer, so empty handed he arrived for their first date. He wanted to give her everything, but…his heart would simply have to do.
