I don't necessarily know why i made that my subject, but now it's there and I'm not feeling like i want to change it.
Tonight is my work's Christmas party. Now i've known this for a while, and my girlfriend was told about a week ago, though, she had prior plans. She was going to go with me, but several factors said otherwise. Her car went into the shop today and was supposed to be done by 3pm easy. It is still there, and wont be done till noon tomorrow, talk about some bullshit. Could she just borrow one of her family members' cars you say? Good question!! Her mom's car is in the shop, her dad's truck as well. So the dad is using one of her sister's cars and the mom is using the van. So the only other vehicle is her little sisters car, and i think there's something up with that one too lmao. this household has 7 cars out of 5 people and none of them are available.
I tried to rent a car. The bank didn't clear my paycheck yet :( I also tried to get a ride from someone, but then i realized Kelly couldn't get to Riverside, and I need to be at work tomorrow morning at 730 am anyways. So it's no Xmas party for Josh tonight. Instead Kelly is going to relax and try to beat out her cold, while i go to the movies with a friend and see Pride and Predjudice (hope i spelled that one right).
So in the end, i saved about 60 bucks and have a saturday night to hang with an old friend, and my girlfriend get's to relax for the first time this week. All my efforts failed, but it still turned out pretty good :)
And, (sound of fingers crossing) I might still be able to go with Kelly Christmas shopping tomorrow. I get to weasle out of her some rules for a present for her. I want to get her something meaningful, but at the same time I can't go overboard, and I want it to be something that does have practicle applications. This one will be tough. Last year I got her one of those Really really comfy bath robes from Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I got it for $40 Off!!! it was just awesome, and she bought me a nice jacket :)
I'm thinking about picking out a nice frame and having us go and have some nice pictures taken, then dinner afterwards. A nice evening, and something to remember it by, professionally. Oh, and i'll make her wear a Santa Hat for the pictures hahahahaa
