The kombucha turned out fine. We did a second ferment with apple juice. Not as bubbly as store bought, but nice. Will be trying out a second ferment with grape juice and one with a cranberry blend. We found a new favorite store bought and I hope to be able to reproduce it some day. Reed's Coconut water Lime Kombucha is very mellow and subtle. Bottom line is we've set up two continuous brew Kombucha containers and I hope to be able to run these for a long time.

The Kimchi turned out fine. The old man likes it better than the kraut, more crunch and spicy. Pip and I are meh about it. We'll take a bite or two, unlike the old man who ate a half pint with lunch.

Now I'm going to weird you out. In the search for better underarm deo, we are giving milk of magnesia a whirl. I bought the store brand and a little spritz bottle to use it with. Will report back on this one.
