"...they call me The Virgin," Sherlock says, voice half-distracted as he plucks at the strings of his violin.
John, tapping away at his keyboard, pauses- fingers twitching against the keys in the seconds it takes him to process the tail end of Sherlock's words and look at him. "I'm sorry-?"
Sherlock turns his gaze from the wall to John, the blue of his eyes intense, the smirk on his lips playful.
"The. Virgin." He enunciates. They stare at one another, the moment growing long between them, each of them trying to outlast the other before- and without warning- they break into simultaneous laughs.
John turns his chair towards Sherlock, quirks an eyebrow and watches as Sherlock carefully puts down his violin and steps towards him. He braces his hands on John's shoulders before settling himself on his lap, John's hands moving to squeeze at his hips.
"They really don't know you at all," John says, tilting his head up to brush his mouth against Sherlock's chin.
"Nor you," Sherlock says, smiling against John's lips as he dips his head. "They do still think you're gay though."
John's fingers clench-unclench, belying the rolling of his eyes. Sherlock smiles again, his teeth a teasing nip at John's mouth before their lips press more fully- more forcefully- together.

♥ just a wee drabble I wrote after seeing the episode. and asdfg how awesome is it to have Sherlock back, guys?
♥ also, this is my first Sherlock fic! YAAAY. Pretty good way to kick off the new year even if it's just a drabble.
♥ also-also, and unrelated to the above drabble, I may or may not be more than a little inlove with Irene Adler. Infact, I kind of want an icon that states 'when I grow up I want to be Irene Adler' because asdfgh that woman! hearts in my eyes XD
