(no subject)
it's snowing and classes are cancelled!!! yay! i think we're sposed to get 4-7 inches or something like that. we're gonna have a snowball fight this afternoon. erin and i are gonna try to venture out to wal-mart cuz i have no gloves here. and i'm gonna see about getting a hat. it's gonna be fun!!!
uhh.. weekend update.
i cut my hair again. i would post a picture but when i get pictures taken of my hair you can never tell anything. like how it looks or whatever so i'm not even gonna post it. but yea. it's really short. it was kinda funny when i was getting it cut annette(the woman that does my hair) was cutting it w/ a razer... and i said that i had never gotten my hair cut w/ a razer before and she goes: that's funny. cuz i've never cut hair w/ a razer before.. and started laughing.
the next thing i'm gonna do is dye it but i think i'm gonna get low-lights and if i get them then i'll wanna get them professionally done and i don't have money for that right now. i dunno. maybe i'll just dye it all. that'll be a lot cheaper. well whatever. it'll be a little bit before i do anything w/ the color of my hair.
so i might be getting a job w/ cj's mom starting sometime in january. she works for the tax administration in fairfax... or something like that.. she does something w/ taxes... but they need to find 12 people to hire for seasonal positions and last night at cj's grandparents house she was asking cj if he knew anyoen that would be interested and he said me. so she told me to give her my resume and she'd take care of it. she said basically they want someone that can type and stuff. i love typing and i took word processing in high school so she said that's a plus. i'll get paid $11.09 per hour. i think that's what she said. it's from 8am-4pm. 35 hours. that's almost $400 a week before taxes. but it's seasonal so that means temporary. i don't know how long the "season" is though. cj said something about 6 months. i dunno. but she said that there's the chance of being offered to stay on permanently after the season is over cuz that's how she got her job. she started out just as a seasonal. so that'll be cool. i mean it'll be hard to continue w/ school but i'll figure something out. so the thing about this job is since it's only seasonal i guess you're not really considered a full time employee which means you don't get benefits or paid holidays. so if i don't continue w/ school then i'll be taken off of my mom's insurance and will have none. not good cuz i know that the second i don't have insurance i'll be going to the doctors every other week. i dunno. i'll figure something out.
cj, kelly, and i might move in together. i already said in here that mom suggested it but now i think it might actually happen. cj and i went to kelly's house friday night and we talked about it and it seems like it might work out. mom still owns our old townhouse that she was planning on selling in june but we're gonna try to convince her to keep it and just let us rent it. she'll be better off that way. cj and i were kinda worried about living w/ kelly but after talking to her i don't think it would be that bad. especially if we rent the townhouse cuz it's 3 levels which will give us space. unlike a 2 bedroom apartment where we'd basically be on top of each other all the time. but it's 3 levels w/ 3 bedrooms on the top floor, kitchen and living room on the middle floor, and the basement has the laundry room and another room that when we lived there we used it for a bedroom. cj doesn't really wanna live in dale city but he'll be willing to do it if it means he'll be able to get out of his parents house.
