We need a ride back...we don't feel safe

The water broke, again, last night. I got back from studying for psychology and wanted nothing more then to get in the shower, steam up and crawl into bed. Unfortunately however, brushing my teeth wasn't even an option. Getting up this morning to no water still was an even better surprise. Calculus class followed by a psych test absolutely needed a shower. So, sarah anne and myself drag our butts over to the student center to wash our faces, brush our teeth and take care of our morning piss. Surprise! Its election day and Oglethorpe is a polling place. What a great image oglethorpe presented to all of those voters today as their upperquad students made their way through the student center, greasy and gross in pajamas. I love oglethorpe.

After sigma stuff today it was absolutely pouring and despite michelle and my attempts to stay dry, by the time we reached our room we were well near soaking. I asked if she wanted to go play in the rain and was surprised by her enthusiastic yes. She and I started out in the middle parking lot river, but found ourselves soon wanting more company and want to round the troops. Our first partner in crime was Grace, followed soon thereafter by Laurie, Rachel, AnneMarie, and Anna. We made our way around campus from upperquad, past the student center, through traer to the academic quad, all the way to the gate house and back. It was the most fantastic and therapeutic thing I've done all week. I was dripping and couldn't care less.

I voted today and I'm damn proud of myself. Also I heard a lady on the radio complain because public school was out so that the teachers could vote, and that was going to contribute too many democratic votes. Wow. Where do these people come from?! Oy.

Anyway...lots of studying to do. Three more tests...
