[Backdated to about four in the afternoon, a girl is returned from her kidnapping. She is returned during the heavy snow, and on the rim of the fountain. As she begins to realize she's back her balance wavers, and she falls backward.]

A-AH! [After a short descent into the fountain she breaks through the layer of ice and into the frigid water.

[Was that a splash he just heard? Vash makes his way towards the fountain - could it be a new feather?] Ah-haha... you know, I had to find out the hard way too that winter isn't really time time to learn how to swim. [Peering in to be sure you're not drowning.]

[The boy clings to the side of the fountain like it's the only lifeline available. Winry shivers violently and manages to get this out while her teeth chatter:]

I-I alre-already know how to swim!

[goldenglasses]

Oh well, you shouldn't be swimming in winter anyway! [He holds out a hand to help you up.]

[automale]

V-Vash, I know.

[Winry takes that hand, but Vash better be ready to pull up most of the weight. The cold water is quickly chilling the blonde to the bone, and all she wants to do is curl up to conserve body heat.]

[goldenglasses]

EH!? How did you know my name?! [Sorry, all that strength in his arm has just gone out with his surprise.]

[automale]

[That causes her to slip, and fall back in.]

Vash, you idiot! It's me, W-Winry! [But this is not Winry's voice. Or body. Ahem.]

W-W-WINRY!? [It can't be!]

[Winry forces herself to stand, now 5'7 and very shaky. For a moment she thinks Vash may have shrunk a bit, but there's more pressing matters at hand. Like:]

Of c-c-c-course it's me! Don't you recognize m- [She puts her hands on her chest to emphasize herself, but there's something wrong.]

[automale]

[There's something very wrong. Her chest... aside from some pectoral muscle... is completely flat.]

[Yeah, that confused look confirms it. Those Malnosso can't leave anyone alone, can they?] Maybe... we should go inside. Or the clothing store...

[automale]

[Her brain can't quite wrap itself around this new problem, but it still understands the first. And hypothermia is not something Winry wants..]

I-inside. Need to get dry.

[goldenglasses]

Here, the clothing store isn't far. You can change into dry clothes. [In the meantime, it won't help much, but Vash takes off his scarf and drapes it around you and takes his gloves off and hands them over.] Here, let's go.

[Winry slips on the gloves and buries her face inside the scarf. She mutters through the cloth:]

Th-thank you, Vash.

[goldenglasses]

You're welcome. [He holds out a hand to make sure you're not going to slip anymore.]

[automale]

[Winry takes that hand, and walks close to Vash. Stupid Malnosso. Stupid cold. Stupid snow.]
