Okay, so here’s the thing…
I need a new guitar.
When I first started the Kickstarter project for my debut CD, I was planning on using the little accoustic Seagull guitar that was given to me once upon a time by a friend of mine. She’s still got a nice enough sound… but she’s got some issues. I’ve had her for ten years and she was used when she was given to ME, so she’s not a young guitar. Her neck is just slightly warped which makes her tough to keep in tune… I typically have to tune her once every couple of songs when I play her live, if not more. And now, her pickup is falling apart… making her a really tough guitar to work with to record.
I *can* work with her, and if I have to I will. BUT, I was thinking you might be able to help me out. Since I didn’t need a new guitar when I started the kickstarter project, I didn’t factor it into the fundraising. But I’m thinking maybe I should. Or, at the very least, I should let YOU know.
The guitar I’m looking at to replace my Seagull is a Luna Eclipse Trans Purple accoustic electric. She looks like a pretty decent guitar for the price (she retails around $370), I’ve heard good things about Luna, and the sound she makes in the videos that they have on the website is the kind of sound that I’m looking for. She’s not a Taylor, but she’s pretty.

You can find out more about her here:
http://www.lunaguitars.com/acousticproduct/eclipsetranspurple.php In order to be able to afford to buy her AND do the recording, I’ll need to pull in between $900 and $950 from the Kickstarter project.
So that’s our new goal.
What do you think? Can you help?
Much love,
Crystal
PS - Much thanks to Anonymous for donating! I don’t know who you are, but you rock!
