what shall we watch?

I know everyone is dying to know what we're watching, what I'm excited for, and when I might write something.

I've been back from vacation for months now, but I'm just barely getting back into routine. But it's hard because Ainsley is no longer in preschool (or any school for that matter) and because of the winter months the park is not an option like it is normally. (I'm a wuss, okay? My kids would be perfectly happy to play outside, but I would FREEZE TO DEATH PEOPLE!) My house is spinning out of control and I end up spending most of my day on the computer just to avoid all the chaos. Do any of you have any tips on winter routines? Keep in mind I have the difficult issue of having a toddler and a full fledged miniature adult (until her brother pulls her hair and then she turns from Manny to Santana.)

Can you believe the entire time I was in the states I hardly watched TV. I mean, I watched House Hunters, and I watched Glee and HIMYM, but that's about it. I have no idea what nights or times or channels my favorite shows come on! Guys, this is just sad! But it's because I love my HuluPlus queue. I like being sent an email to tell me my show was on. It fits in nicely with my insane days. So, what am I watching and what am I looking forward to?

When Cheyenne comes home from a deployment we usually spend all our evenings watching anything he missed out on. He was gone 8 months this year so our backlog of movies and tv is large. We watched Season 1 of Lie to Me, but we didn't have season two, so we skipped over to my Christmas present of Wonderfalls, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, and Bones season 5. He wants us to watch Spartacus. It was on the CCTV on the boat and is very manly, but awesome like Legend of the Seeker, so we'll see. We've also got all of Friday Night Lights, and well, just massive amounts of other dvds. Don't even get me started on Cheyenne discovering all the free old content on HuluPlus. It's been pretty much decided that when we move back to the states we're getting network channels and keeping our HuluPlus because we don't need regular cable.

But what am I excited about for the mid season? Why Mr. Sunshine of course! Rewatching Studio 60 reminded me that I love Matthew Perry. And I just can't wait for Allison Janney being back on my tv!

I'll also be watching Off the Map from ABC. It looks like Grey's Anatomy in the Amazon, which is fine. I used to love Grey's before it got preachy (right around the time George cheated on Callie, but it was okay because he didn't really love her...uh, no.) Anyways, the show recast one of the characters so now we've got Zach Gilford (my most favoritest actor from Friday Night Lights) and Caroline Dhavernous (of Wonderfalls awesomeness.) And now, just now, I'm thinking OMG I already ship them. /fangirl moment.

As for fangirling, I've gone back to writing How To Date an International Super Star and (Still be a Bad Ass.) It's jumbles of scenes and all over the place, but at least I'm writing. It feels productive and I hope to have another part out soon.

Tell me, what are the shows you can't wait for?

riley, wonderfalls, legend of the seeker, tv chatter, glee, mr. sunshine, ainsley, bones, off the map, rl, himym, friday night lights, lie to me
