Countdown, fun and games, and TV
So, we've got a countdown of less than 34 hours until my sister will be here and it's soooo exciting! Of course, that means I've got a lot to do! I have to clean the house, again...and go grocery shopping, and get a black turtleneck for Ainsley's ladybug costume. But, this should be easy, since I'm too excited to even sleep!
Today we had a wild play date. 6 kids and 4 moms made for a noisy but fun, morning. I've got a video here of Ainsley, Emma, and Madeline playing ring around the rosie. Cute right? Ring Around the Rosie
Pushing Daisies: I had to kick the missionaries out the door so I could watch this, but that's their own fault for showing up to dinner an hour late. Hope they don't hold it against me. I sat down with my caramel apple cheesecake (it's pie night) and watched. My favorite part? it might have been the bedazzled pidegeon or Ned and Chuck dancing in their bee keeper suits, but instead, it was the narcoleptic joke.
Emerson: That's narcolepsy, necrophilia's the other one right?
Ned: yeah
I worried for Chuck's safety and I laughed and felt sad when Ned was jealous of the hand holding. Plus, let's thank Dr. Greg House for teaching us about Occam's Razor. This theory that notes the most obvious solution is the correct one, is popping up in all my shows. But I loved the little "Occam's" cough that Ned did. This show is just awesome! Really, if you haven't checked it out, do, you won't be sorry. You can catch all the eps on ABC.com
Private Practice: Cheyenne and I still think Addison would be better off at Seattle Grace, but I loved Piz err Dell. Poor guy kept trying to do his first pap and it just wasn't working out for him! I really can't wait for Judging Amy and Cooper to get together. The dynamic they have is so great, but I guess that means they could dance around each other for a long time and it would still be entertaining.
Life: A fallen angel and the Russian Mafia? How could you go wrong? Another great episode. My favorite part had to be Charlie telling Danni, "Now you're starting to sound like me." Of course, I was a big fan of the tattoo exchange also:
Danni: You really have tattoos?
Charlie: Yes, do you want to see 'em?
Danni:NO
Just Grey's tonight...anybody got any suggestions for Thursdays? I watch Ugly Betty, I like it, but it's not a fav. Anything good on?
